Kia Carens Facelift! Rs 20 Lakh New 7-Seater Spotted Testing! : Kia India has been silent for the past few months and we have not seen new launches in recent times. However, the brand is set to introduce facelifts of Carnival and Carens. Whereas it will soon launch new products like EV9 and Clavis. That said, new spy shots of the Kia Carens facelift have surfaced online, revealing new details.
The new spy shots of the Carens facelift has revealed the side profile of the MPV. Yes, the 7-seater is covered with camouflage but we can see the new alloy wheels. Being a facelift it was expected the MPV to get new alloy wheel design and the spy shot confirms the same. Apart from the new alloy wheels, we have also seen the headlamps and tail lamps of the Carens facelift. So with a facelift, the Kia Carens will get refreshed exterior design.
Kia Carens Facelift – What Else?
Along with the new exterior design we are also expecting minor tweaks to the interior. This might include new position for AC vents, revised centre console, and a larger touchscreen system. Apart from that, expect a new interior colour theme for the Carens facelift. Finally, we are highly expecting features like 360-degree camera and Level-2 ADAS on the facelift model.
In terms of engine options we do not expect any changes. It will continue with the same engine options – 1.5-litre TGDi, 1.5-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The transmission options include – manual, iMT, DCT, and torque converter automatic gearbox.
Kia Carens Facelift – Launch & Price
Talking about the launch timeline, we can expect it to be launched by the end of this year. Pricing-wise, expect a hike of Rs 60k to 80k depending upon the variants. Currently, the Kia Carens has been priced between Rs 12.54 lakh to Rs 23.68 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
