After Patna, Gaya will be the second city in Bihar where metro facility will be available.
Gaya International Airport will be at a distance of 15 km
With the construction of a metro station near National Highway 82, the distance of Manpur railway station will be two kilometers and the distance of Gaya Junction will be eight kilometers. After the launch of Gaya International Airport in 2002, the metro project will be the second biggest development work for the district. This will lead to rapid development of Gaya.
Other districts including Nawada, Nalanda, Jamui and Banka will also develop
Starting of metro service in Gaya will not only lead to development of Gaya but also the surrounding districts like Nawada, Nalanda, Jamui and Banka. This will increase employment opportunities in the entire region and the standard of living of the people will improve.
